I met them a few years ago when we purchased the property near this cabin to build our "Cabin in the Mountains" Dream one day. Over the last few years until our cabin was built in \'06, we visited this beautiful cabin, and the two other rental cabins they owned next door. </div><div></div><br /><div>Richard and Adele were wonderful hosts and offered so many extra touches that made us feel welcome. The cabins were beautifully decorated and the linens were always so luxurious... So, of course, we returned again and again. </div><br /><div></div><div>My favorite part is and always will be the setting. I love the drive up and around the bends with the mountain view in the backdrop; the quiet; the fresh mountain air, especially after a rain; the nature sounds; the deer scattering as we approached; the sunrises and the sunsets...brilliant!; the trails and the pond; and the sounds of the trees. </div><br /><div></div><div>I promise you that there is no place on this earth like Pond View Cabin, nestled in nature in the most perfect part of the mountains. </div><br /><div></div><div>I would (sadly) leave the cabin and the mountains feeling so refreshed...so rejuvenated. I think I slept the best here, closer to the sky, in the peaceful quiet and in the still, dark mountain nights lit by the close, very close stars above. </div><br /><div></div><div>I will always remember my vacations here. Quality time together, laughter, hiking, reading, fires....Thank you to Adele and Richard for the best vacations and for the final inspiration of my "Dream Cabin."</div><div></div><br /><div>And now I present them to you....the best hosts (ever!) who offer you their cabin, Pond View, with the hopes of a dream vacation of your own, up in the NC Blue Ridge Mountains, tucked away from the hustle and bustle...but close enough to join in when you want....</div><div></div><br /><div>They will take over this Blog from here...enjoy their words of wisdom. They know the area...they will help you with your travel plans, and they really care about your happiness! </div><div></div><br /><div>Welcome, Richard and Adele! </div><div></div><div>And Welcome to <a href="http://www.pondview.homestead.com/">Pond View Cabin</a>! </div><br /><div></div><br /><div><em>written by Lee Ann Harrison</em></div></div><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width=\'1\' height=\'1\' src=\'https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/2506181246315723177-5001529146333481079?l=pondviewcabin.blogspot.com\' alt=\'\' /></div></p>';
